This week I’m conducting an experiment with Omega 3, which is also called one of the “vitamins for the brain“. In this experiment I’ll be seeing if Omega 3 can boost my mood or improve my brainpower.
To see more about the circumstances of this experiment, check out day 1 of Vitamins for the Brain.
This week, my omega 3 supplement of choice is:
Omega 3: mood booster, brain supercharger, or none of the above?
Well, yesterday my mood would be ranked at a 7 out of 10, so I’m seeing an improvement in my mood. Over this short of a time period though, that might not be due solely to any Omega 3 supplement, it could instead just be random fluctuations in my natural energy level. So, it’s too early to make any determination on whether omega 3 mood booster effects are true or not.
When it comes to improving my brainpower, the results are even more confusing. I took 14 minutes and 27 seconds. This is a huge increase on my time from yesterday. Perhaps it was just a hard puzzle? Once again, we’re too early in the experiment to draw any definite conclusions, but this certainly isn’t the result I might have anticipated!
Ah, science, the unexpected is what makes it so fun!
