This week, I’ve been experimenting with how to clean your teeth properly.

To see how this week has been going for me so far, check out yesterday’s progress in my experiment on how to clean your teeth properly.

Conclusions

Well, I won’t beat this to death, but it appears I’ve hit a point of diminishing returns. Or, to say it better, a wall where returns no longer increase.

It seems that at the middle point of this experiment, I continued to achieve the level of good feeling that I had achieved, but the benefits of fanatically cleaning my teeth didn’t seem to continue any further.

Does this mean you shouldn’t take care in cleaning your teeth?

Not at all. There are still a whole host of reasons to clean your teeth with all the enthusiasm you can muster. However, what it does mean is that (at least for me) there is a cap on how good clean teeth makes me feel.

So, continue brushing and flossing, but don’t expect it to be the one obstacle between you and happiness!
