This week I’ve been doing an experiment on how to help other people, or specifically, how to help myself by helping other people.
To see how this experiment has been going for me so far, check out yesterday’s entry in the experiment on how to help other people.
Step Up and do More than your share
In any relationship, whether it’s family, friends or romantic, chores and jobs are divided. We all get our lists of what needs to be done.
Today, I stepped up to do more than my share of work around the house. I didn’t need to, nor was I required to, but I did extra work and that made life happier for everyone.
If you get all the work dropped on you all the time, that’s a bad situation. However, if you occasionally take the time to help out someone else, and they sometimes return the favour, then that’s about as good as life can get!
