Well, the extra sleep I tried for last night worked out well for me. Once again, I woke up okay, but this time I didn’t run out of steam in the middle of the day.
I suspect what might have happened is that the white wine is helping to relax me, which is leading to an improvement in my quality of sleep and making waking up much easier.
Whatever is happening, I have no complaints.
The experiment continues. I don’t believe it’s a long-term strategy because it has negative health impacts in larger quantities, but as a short-term strategy it has some definite benefits so far.
Happy Thoughts List
It’s been a while since I posted one of these, so I’m long overdue. If you’re wondering why I’m still doing these lists, check out the results of my happy thoughts list experiment.
My happy thoughts for today are:
1. People believing in me
2. Time with friends: This week I’ve had both sad times and happy times with friends, but all of the moments have been with friends, and that makes them better.
3. My cat running down the stairs to welcome me when I come home. Seeing how eager he is always makes my day better.
